Call for papers and posters
The call for papers has now closed.
All authors have been notified as to the success of their submissions. Any queries should be directed to Lee-Anne Shepherd.
Presentations
Please ensure all presentations are compatible with PowerPoint 2003.
This year presentations will not be collated by CO2CRC prior to the event. It is the responsibility of the author to bring a copy of their presentation to the event on a CD or a flash drive. Technical staff will be available during the break prior to the session in which you are presenting to load your presentation and provide you the opportunity to test your presentation.
All presentations will be provided to conference attendees on a CD as password protected PDFs, unless the author specifically requests to have their presentation with-held. This CD will be mailed to registered delegates after the event.
A note for CO2CRC authors
All presentations by CO2CRC researchers should be prepared using the CO2CRC PowerPoint template. All presentations need to be submitted for review in the PTS2 by 3 November, and approved online by 26 November.
Please ensure that:
- The presentation title is written in the title field of the PTS record; and
- When completing the Audience/Event/Publication field `CO2CRC Research Symposium 2008’ has been selected using the drop-down menu.
Posters and Poster Previews
Posters – Industry representatives
No size is specified as you may wish to use your poster for other events. Industry representatives are asked to email a PDF of their poster to Lee-Anne Shepherd by Monday 24 November. Unless the author specifically requests that it be with-held, this will be included in the Symposium CD, which will be available shortly after the event.
It is the responsibility of authors to have their approved poster printed and delivered to the event. Information will be provided later on arrangements for hanging your work.

All posters need to be submitted for review in the PTS by Monday 3 November, and approved online prior to printing and by Monday 24 November.

PTS Advice for CO2CRC authors
To access the PTS:
- Log on to the CO2CRC Extranet at https://extra.co2crc.com.au/ If you do not have a username and password, email icts@co2crc.com.au;
- Click on the PTS2 icon;
- Allow the PTS2 to load. The first page you see is the PTS2 Index.
Please create one PTS record only for each abstract and one separate record for each presentation or poster. Fields marked with a red arrow need to be completed before the document can be submitted for approval. This can be done over several sessions. Once the ‘Create record’ button is clicked the data you have entered will be saved in a new record and any subsequent changes will be saved automatically. You can re-enter this record at any time.
To re-enter an existing PTS record:
- Go to the PTS Index and open the Refine Search panel by clicking on the Refine Search button.
- Enter the criteria on which you would like the search to be based. (Entering the publication ID number will locate your publication; other selections will narrow the field). Click 'Go'.
- Click on the title for the record you wish to open/modify.
- To close the Refine Search panel click the Refine Search tab. The list of publications shown in the PTS index will continue to be filtered by these search criteria until you change the criteria or select a quick search option.
PTS2 Help
Online help files are available on the PTS2 – click the Help button on any page to read help relevant to that page, or the whole process. For additional help call Lee-Anne Shepherd on (02) 6120 1600
